Accepting these terms

You accept these terms when you check the box agreeing to them on a form, or when you purchase anything from us.

If we make a material change, we will ask you to accept the new terms rather than assuming you have. Minor or administrative changes take effect when posted, and the date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.

You must be at least 18 to submit information or purchase through this site.

Sponsorship and vendor agreements

Sponsorship is governed by our Sponsorship Terms. Vendor bookings are governed by our Vendor Terms. Both are incorporated here by reference.

Where those documents conflict with this one, they control. They set the commercial terms, and this page sets the terms for using the site itself.

CnC Sac events

We host an event on the first Sunday of every month, 8am to 10am, rotating between three Sacramento venues. Events are free to attend, family friendly, and open to all years, makes, and models. Dates and venues are confirmed ahead of each event and can change.

House rules. Be respectful of the venue, the cars, and each other. No burnouts, no loud revving, no reckless driving. Drive at walking pace anywhere outside a marked driving area. And have fun.

We can refuse entry or ask anyone to leave, at any time, for any reason. Entry is a revocable permission, not a right, and it can be withdrawn on the day or in advance.

You attend at your own risk. Car events carry inherent risks including moving vehicles, mechanical failure, and noise. You are responsible for your own conduct, your vehicle, and anyone you bring with you, and for any damage or cost you cause.

Membership

Membership is free. It gives you access to our member offers with partner businesses, and to the CnC Sac Community.

Member offers are sent on request. We send you the link; you claim it there and we email your member code.

We can change or end membership, and the offers within it, at any time. A member code you already hold keeps the terms it was issued under.

We can suspend or end your membership if you misuse an offer, share a member code, or behave in a way that harms the community or a partner.

Partner offers

Partner offers are fulfilled entirely by the partner, not by us. We issue the referral code and email it to you. The partner provides the service and applies the offer. We disclaim liability for a partner failing to honor a promotion, though we will work with you to put it right.

Each offer applies only to the type of work described on its own page. Neither offer combines with any other offer or promotion.

Member codes carry no cash value and are not transferable. A member code is issued to you, and sharing it may end your membership. Member rate codes are valid for 30 days from the date they are issued. There is no time limit on the member assist code, by agreement with the partner.

Offers may be changed or withdrawn for future claims at any time. A code you already hold keeps the terms it was issued under.

Using this site

The site, its forms, and its referral tracking are provided as is and as available. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error free, and we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

You are responsible for keeping any account credentials secure and for activity under your account.

The CnC Sac name, crest, and the design of this site belong to us. Sponsor and partner names and logos belong to those companies and are used with their permission.

Copyright and takedown

If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, follow the takedown process set out in our privacy policy. We will remove or disable access to the material while we look into it.

Limitation of liability

Our total liability under these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, less the value of anything already delivered. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption. We are not liable for website downtime, technical faults, or interruptions to referral tracking, and we do not guarantee that a sponsorship will produce any particular marketing result or level of sales.

Indemnity

You agree to cover our costs, including legal fees, arising from your breach of these terms, from content you supply to us, or from your conduct at one of our events.

Sponsors and partners are responsible for their own advertising claims, their own products and services, and their own tax reporting.

Disputes

We try mediation first. Both sides agree to attempt informal resolution or mediation for 30 days before starting any formal proceeding. If that does not resolve it, the dispute goes to binding arbitration.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, with venue in Sacramento, California.
