Sponsorship terms

By purchasing a sponsorship, you agree to these terms.

1. Products and pricing

What each tier includes is set out on our sponsorship page, and forms part of these terms.

2. Payment

Payment is due in full at purchase. Your sponsorship begins when payment clears.

3. Term and renewal

Sponsorship tiers run for 12 months from the date payment clears.

Sponsorship does not renew automatically. We will contact you before your term ends to discuss renewal. Continuing requires a new purchase.

Single Event Sponsorship, the Social Media Package, and Host an Event are one-time purchases and are complete on delivery.

4. Refunds and cancellation

You may request a refund within 3 days of purchase, provided nothing has gone live and no work has begun. After 3 days, or once anything has gone live or work has begun, no refund is available.

“Gone live” includes your logo being published, a post being made, an event being promoted with your name on it, or production work being started.

5. If we cannot deliver

If Cars and Coffee Sac LLC is unable to deliver part of what you have paid for, we will refund you in proportion to what you paid for and did not receive. This is separate from Section 4 and is not limited by the 3-day window.

This section does not apply to events cancelled for reasons outside our control. See Section 12.

6. Fulfilment

We agree a fulfilment schedule with you after purchase, because every project differs. That agreed schedule is binding on both of us.

This covers scheduling of the cinematic commercial in the Executive tier, the merch drop in the Elite tier, and the timing of any hosted event.

7. Social Media Package

The package is one pinned Instagram post for 30 days, plus a weekly story feature for 4 weeks.

You supply the content and approve it before it is posted. If we decline to post something you have supplied, we will work with you to find alternative content, or refund you.

8. Your logo and display rights

By purchasing, you give Cars and Coffee Sac LLC permission to display your name and logo in connection with our events, our website, and our promotional materials for the duration of your term.

You are responsible for supplying usable logo files and confirming your correct legal name. Your term runs from the date payment clears whether or not you supply logo files. If you do not supply them, your logo simply will not be displayed.

9. Hosted events

Host an Event ($500) is arranged by prior discussion. Date, venue, and requirements are agreed before the event is confirmed.

Our events typically see attendance of 100 to 200 cars. This describes what we have seen at past events. It is not a guaranteed turnout.

10. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute outside the refund window in Section 4, all sponsorship benefits are forfeited immediately and you will not be accepted as a sponsor again.

11. Limitation of liability

Our total liability under these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, less the value of anything already delivered. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption. We are not liable for website downtime, technical faults, or interruptions to referral tracking, and we do not guarantee that a sponsorship will produce any particular marketing result or level of sales.

12. Events outside our control

Cars and Coffee Sac LLC shall not be held liable or responsible for the cancellation, postponement, or disruption of any event, meet, or gathering when such cancellation is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control. These circumstances include, but are not limited to, acts of God, extreme or unsafe weather conditions (including rain, high winds, or wildfire smoke), fires, floods, government emergencies, unexpected venue or facility closures, permit revocations or denials, public health mandates, or civil unrest. In the event of such a force majeure cancellation, the organization, its staff, and its volunteers are completely released from any liability for financial losses, travel expenses, or damages incurred by participants, attendees, vendors, or sponsors.

Except as follows. For single-event products — Single Event Sponsorship and Host an Event — a cancelled event will be rescheduled to the next available event, or refunded in full if no reschedule is possible.

For 12-month sponsorship tiers, a cancelled event is simply cancelled. Your sponsorship covers many events across the term, so one cancellation does not reduce what you purchased, and no refund or credit is due.

13. Transfer

Sponsorship may not be transferred or assigned, including on the sale of your business.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, with venue in Sacramento, California.

Any dispute goes to mediation first. If mediation does not resolve it, the dispute goes to arbitration.

15. Disclosure

The cinematic commercial included in the Executive tier is produced by KCE Films, the videography business of CnC Sac’s Vice President.
